August von Parseval - German aeronautical Engineer

August von Parseval. 1861-1942. German aeronautical engineer. He designed a medium-sized non-rigid airship known as a “Parseval.” Autograph Letter Signed “von Parseval,” two pages, 5.5” x 8.5,” Charlottenburg, 3 December 1908. Written on his personal imprinted letter sheet, in German, to Mr. von Frankenberg. He writes in part: “…One does not have to be too modest with the suggestions to the Federal Railroad Office. However, the expenses for running illuminated lettering would represent an insurmountable obstacle at the time being…” Two file holes in left blank margin, otherwise in fine condition. A very scarce aeronautical autograph!
